ASNE presents: The Age of Trump - Politics, Diplomacy and America's Role in the World

Join us in the nation's capital May 6-7 for an ASNE exclusive: briefings on conservatism v. Trumpism and Supreme Court "decisions to watch," plus our popular annual daylong briefing at the U.S. State Department.

We begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 6with an event at The Heritage Foundation, co-sponsored by The Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies & Citizenship, the D.C., arm of Michigan's Hillsdale College. First, we'll hear from an all-star cast of right-leaning notables who will debate the question: "Can Conservatism Survive Trump?" Then, we'll hear three legal scholars - right, left and centrist - discuss which Supreme Court decisions, soon to be handed down, could most profoundly affect American life. We'll end the day with an hour of journalism shop talk focusing on community engagement in an election year.

Then on the morning of Monday, May 7, it's off to the State Department to meet our nation's top diplomats for a whirlwind tour of U.S. foreign policy under President Trump. Name the hotspot, and we've got you covered. This has long been one of our most popular annual traditions.

Registration is $15 for both members and nonmembers of ASNE and will close May 2. A boxed lunch will be provided May 7, and a $200 travel reimbursement is available to the first 20 members to sign up.

See you in Washington May 6-7!
