The Emerging Leaders Institute Oct. 7-8 in Washington, D.C., is closing the application at 11:59 p.m. CDT Friday, Sept. 8.
Get your application in now, or encourage your staff to apply for this free training that will help them develop core strategic leadership skills. New and mid-level news leaders with diverse backgrounds will be given strong consideration.
Some of the topics on the program include coaching and feedback, leadership style, driving diversity in news platforms, goal-setting and strategy, financial leadership, and technology and innovation. Click here for a quick glance on the program from the Emerging Leaders Institute at NABJ.
The institute will take place for two full days, Oct. 7-8, prior to the ASNE-APME News Leadership Conference in Washington. Learn more and apply by Sept. 8.
The institute is free and will provide two nights of hotel and travel reimbursements of up to $600 per participant, thanks to the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the Loyola University Chicago School of Communication and the American Press Institute.
