And hopefully, you have reserved your hotel room at the Hampton Inn & Suites @ The University of Texas/Capitol or elsewhere close to the UT campus. As we've told you in the past two weeks, the block of rooms we reserved at the Hampton Inn sold out.

The conference will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, and conclude at noon Sunday, May 4. Check out this complete agenda.

Here are a few highlights of Hacking News Leadership that will be beneficial to you.

Tech Tools: From 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 3, we will have demos of five-six easy technology tools that editors and developers can share in the newsroom. Session presenter(s): The Texas Tribune and more.

Happy Hour, Saturday, May 3: Join us at Freedmen's Barbeque from 5 to 7 p.m., sponsored by The Texas Tribune, and get to know your colleagues.

Breakout Labs, Sunday, May 4: We'll tackle the biggest challenges and potential solutions at the intersection of editorial and development in the newsroom, including workflow, deadlines, new product development and roll-out, time management, expectations and hiring.

Our generous sponsors include the University of Texas at Austin, The Texas Tribune, the Austin American-Statesman, Digital First Media, Google, Scripps Howard Foundation and the Houston Chronicle.
