ASNE partners with JCamp in 2013

The nonprofit organization recruits high school students for an annual summer workshop.
ASNE is proud to announce its partnership with JCamp, a nonprofit program that brings together 42 of the most promising high school journalists in the country. Although the 13-year-old program operates under the arm of the Asian American Journalists Association, it is open to all students who will be returning to their high schools in the fall of 2013.

This year's JCamp program will run from June 21-26 in Washington, D.C., and will include a mixer with ASNE members during the 2013 ASNE convention. Additionally, students will get a chance to work with some of the best in the business on developing their reporting, networking and leadership skills. All selected students attend absolutely free -- room, board and transportation are all covered. Please spread the word!

Deadline for applying is March 15. Applications and more information can be found here.
