In Smartphone era, new ideas for diversity

"The push for newsroom diversity isn't dead; it just needs to be refitted for an era of smartphones, 'diversity fatigue,' shrinking budgets and changing demographics." That was Richard Prince's lead in a story he filed yesterday following an ASNE Leadership in Diversity session, held June 14-15 in Orlando, Fla. In his detailed report, Prince listed several ideas that came up for growing audience and creating revenue, along with other highlights from the session.
