The ASNE-APME conference at Stanford University (#editors3D) kicks off in three days, and we'd like to introduce the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, one of our generous sponsors. Meet the Hewlett Foundation:
The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation welcomes ASNE-APME to the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded in 1966, the Hewlett Foundation provides support to organizations that help people build measurably better lives. The foundation concentrates its resources on activities in education, the environment, global development and population, performing arts, and philanthropy, as well as support for disadvantaged communities in the Bay Area.
Its newest initiatives focus on promoting healthy, functioning U.S. representative institutions and on building a robust cybersecurity field that serves the public interest. (The foundation, created through the personal philanthropy of HP founder Bill Hewlett, is not affiliated with HP or its corporate foundation.)
