Apply by Sept. 11 to attend the Minority Leadership Institute at ASNE-APME Oct. 15-16 at Stanford University in Palo Alto. This is a free training opportunity for mid-level emerging news leaders to acquire management skills on goal-setting, strategies, leadership style, driving diversity, and technology and innovation.

This is a free training opportunity for mid-level emerging news leaders to acquire management skills on goal-setting, strategies, leadership style, driving diversity, and technology and innovation.
ASNE will book and cover travel and two nights of lodging for every participant, and some meals during the training will be provided.

She said the training helped her become more vocal in addressing issues involved with covering minority events that are often overlooked.
