Here are some reminders about today's events:

A note about session rooms

All general sessions will be held in Crystal Ballroom A. When there are concurrent sessions, Session A will be in Crystal Ballroom A, and Session B will be in Crystal Ballroom C. 

Today's special events

  • Lunch: We have 15 tickets left for the ASNE-APME Awards Lunch. To purchase a ticket, come to the registration desk. Tickets are $30 each. 
  • Cruise the Chicago River: Boarding starts at 6 p.m. at Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand Ave. The cruise is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A buffet dinner is included, and there will be a cash bar. We still have tickets available to purchase at the registration desk. Tickets are $30 each. 
  • Night at the ballgame: The Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds will play at 7:05 p.m. at Wrigley Field, 1060 W. Addison St. Transportation is on your own. We have a handful of extra tickets available for purchase at the registration desk. 


Student journalists


We have a great group of students from Ball State University and Columbia College Chicago covering the conference. Follow along with their coverage here.

Registration

Registration opens at 8 a.m. today in the Crystal Ballroom foyer, which is on the Green Level in the West Tower (that is street level). 

WiFi

  • The WiFi network in meeting rooms is ASNEAPME2014. There is no password needed. 
  • If you registered with our group block of hotel rooms, the WiFi in your guest room is also provided. You should select the $9.95 option when prompted on your laptop or mobile device; that amount will be deducted from your bill.
