Friday is the last day members of ASNE and APME can get the special registration rate for the ASNE-APME joint conference Sept. 15-17 at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago.
Our theme: ASNE/APME 2014: Fast Forward
The conference will begin at 1 p.m. CDT Monday, Sept. 15, and conclude about 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17.
In between, we will present lively and topical conference sessions that will explore key issues newsroom leaders are tackling; showcase innovations; and provide practical takeaways in such areas as improving content on mobile, increasing audience engagement and reach, and developing partnerships for greater impact.
Also consider attending this special seminar on the regional and national implications of climate change, which will be held Thursday, Sept. 18, by the University of Rhode Island's Metcalf Institute for Marine & Environmental Reporting. More details to come as we continue to work on organizing some pre-conference Monday-morning workshops and some post-conference Thursday workshops.
Read other highlights, including two lunches, the opening night reception and auction, and Tuesday night cruise and baseball game.
Register now: After Friday, April 18, the registration fee will be $250 for members of ASNE and APME and $350 for nonmembers. There are special rates for retired editors, spouses, students and APME's Regents. ASNE members, click here to register. APME members can register at apme.com.
