We recently asked for your thoughts on the 2013 ASNE Convention. We take your feedback seriously. The results are in; here is what you had to say. More than 90 percent of respondents said that the convention either met or exceeded their expectations.

We recently asked for your thoughts on the 2013 ASNE Convention. We take your feedback seriously. The results are in; here is what you had to say. 
 
More than 90 percent of respondents said that the convention either met or exceeded their expectations.
 
The speakers and panels that were rated highest:
The Government vs. the Press panel received the highest rating.

Videos have been viewed more than 600 times on our website. The two most popular, with a combined total of more than 300 views, are What the Audience is Telling us About the Future of News and Honoring Two Breakthrough Female Editors: Sandy Rowe and Jill Abramson.

 
The most requested speaker for our next convention was Jeff Bezos. Other requested speakers were Warren Buffett and President Obama, as well as repeat performances by Tom Rosenstiel, Butch Ward and Sree Sreenivasan.

 
Among the list of topics requested for the next convention are women's roles in the newsroom, innovations of technology and mobile products, and updates on First Amendment issues and various regulations on the news industry.

 
Some of you suggested adding a list of participants for networking purposes.
