Nominate journalism educator who promotes diversity

The 2018 Barry Bingham Sr. Fellowship is accepting nominations for an outstanding educator who has shown great efforts to encourage and mentor college students of color in the field of journalism. The winner will receive an honorarium of $1,000 to be used to "further work in progress or begin a new project."

Diverse candidates you can hire as summer interns

The ASNE Diversity Committee encourages editors looking to place summer interns in their newsrooms to consider hiring from the talented pool of diverse candidates who applied to the 2018 Chips Quinn Scholars Program for Diversity in Journalism.
