APME Innovator of the Year winner announced


Ball State University ASNE-APME Convention Coverage Team 

On Tuesday, the Associated Press Media Editors named Wall Street Journal “Innovator of the Year” for its project “WSJ Start-Up of the Year.” In an innovative shift from the paper’s usual demographic, the series pitted 24 entrepreneurs against each other for several weeks to earn the same title as the project itself.

2014 ASNE Board of Directors

 
The ASNE Board of Directors added five new members and elected a new executive committee at the organization's first joint conference with APME in Chicago. Chris Peck of The Riverton (Wyo.) Ranger took the reins as ASNE president as 2013 ASNE President David Boardman handed over the gavel during the ASNE business meeting Tuesday at the conference.
